Hey,
Last christmas i got an ipod touch and havent once been able to connect to wifi, that wasnt such a big problem
but about 2 weeks ago i bought an imac and that hasnt been connecting either.
I have a d-link router. i think that it could be the computer guy gave us the wrong password since my ps3 isnt connecting either, but he did connect my laptop and my brothers computer and they are connecting fine, so i guess he wouldnt have written the wrong password, is there any security setting where it only lets known computers in or is there any other explanation>

Could be locked by MAC (note not Mac) address. Every WiFi card/chip has a unique ID which can be used to lock down WiFi networks. I certainly have mine locked like this.

The chances are that your router has wireless encryption enabled (which is good as it stops unauthorised users from using your internet). Can you reset the router to factory settings? On the back of most routers is a small reset button which would remove all security. Once reset you should be able to connect all your WiFi devices. Don't forget to set up the security again.
