Hi,
I'm one of the developers but I'd like to point out for anyone interested, an update to WiFiFoFum is now available. It now supports filtering and logging of networks, making it a pretty useful wardriving tool. Here's a list of what's new...
* Networks in list view now show channel.
* Connected network is highlighted in list view and radar
* Logging ability added allowing you to wardrive areas and log the access points discovered.
- Ability to view map of access points from a log in the iPhone's map application
- Ability to email logs so that they may be downloaded or viewed on your desktop/laptop
* Settings panel allows the following to be set...
- Scan frequency
- RSSI filter (to filter out low strength networks)
- Infrastructure, ad hoc, secure filters to filter out networks
- Position accuracy required for networks to be logged
Also, you can view a video of the new version at the following address. Please note that the connection buttons aren't in the version just released (although everything else you see is), but will be in the subsequent update.
