wild and crazy question

So I think I might have been subjected to a sneak and peak warrant via the good ol' patriot act.......

My question is, if an external hard drive was connected to my computer, and the contents of the hard drive were copied, is there any trail of this? Is there a log that records ops/transfers ect? I'm not really tech savvy so sorry if its a dumb question....but it is kind of critical that I know.....

my model is: mb324ll/a and I think I have leopard 10.5 or something like that...what ever came stock

I don't think there is any way. You might be able to tell by looking at some hidden system files to see if they where created while the drive should have been off.

The owner of the external drive will never know. However, anything that is on your hard drive now that shouldnt be there can be recovered even after you delete it. Best to keep things like that on an external drive with no reference to your name/address/Mac.

You probably don't want to say but whats on the drive?
