Will 10.5.6 OSX update kill/lock my iphone ??

I currently have OS X 10.5.5 on my MacBook.
I currently have 1st Gen iphone jailbroken and unlocked with 2.0.1

I want to upgrade my MacBook to 10.5.6, but will that kill my iPhone?

I could not find the Dev-Team blog with the fix?

It just kills the ability to read it in DFU mode...

...without a USB hub. That's it.

What is DFU mode? Sorry I'm new to the game

It's what you have to do jailbreak/unlock your iPhone.

So as long as you don't need to restore the software that is currently on it (from being frozen or something) or ever jailbreak a new firmware ever again, you should be fine.

And again, just use a USB hub to get around that.
