Will 9.7 iPad Pro Verizon work on ATT?

Bought a 10.5, so now I'm selling my 9.7....

I found a buyer who is looking to use it on ATT, and as far as I know all these iPad Pro's are unlocked no matter who you get them from if I'm correct?

I just do not want to sell this to him, ship it to him, and run into a nightmare.
