Hi, I'm kinda new to these forums, but everyone here seems to be very knowledgeable and skilled, so i have a question that I'd like to ask. But first a little background info.

I have a 2009 Mac Pro that I've been upgrading slowly, and i purchased a BCM94331CD for it. the card worked well up until i upgraded the system's OS from Mojave to Monterey, only to discover that the wireless card seems to not be supported with that OS. Prior to getting that Mac Pro, i had a 2013 iMac (running High Sierra), and the research I've done suggests that it has a BCM94360CD wireless card that should work well with the Mac Pro.

So here's the question - if I open up the iMac to harvest it's BCM94360CD to put into the Mac Pro, would I be able to put the BCM94331CD into the iMac and expect it to have wireless functionality?

I'm guessing the answer would be YES, but I'd like to check and confirm here to make the process a little faster and easier on my end.

THANKS! :)

Okay, so i finally decided to take the plunge on that, and GOOD NEWS. The card swap was a complete success, and the BCM94331CD worked perfectly in the iMac without any issues or need for any "configuration". I'm happy :D
