Greetings community

I picked up an early 2015 MBP that came with a factory 500GB SSD.

I have two Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSD’s, one is 1TB and the other is 2TB

The MBP is currently High Sierra and planning to install Monterey on one of the Samsung SSD’s

Will using the larger size SSD provide faster performance on the MBP?

Appreciate any input

Also, whats the better unsupported MacOS version for this machine that is better performance oriented, Sonoma or Ventura of course using OCLP.

The big jump in SSD performance is from 128 to 256, then again from 256 to 500GB. The increase from 500GB to one or two TB is much less noticeable. I doubt you could even tell the difference between a 1TB and 2TB drive.

They're basically identical.
