Hello everyone!
Currently, I am running a mid 2010 13" MacBook Pro - 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1 TB SSD, and 10GB worth of Memory. I've replaced the battery numerous times, and as good as this machine has been, I think that it's time to replace it, although it still runs (but the battery DOES need replacing again).
I wanted to wait until either the MBP or the MBA was upgraded to the new keyboard and with last week's announcement, I finally have a viable (reasonably priced) option. I would like for this computer to last as long as possible, maybe not 10 years, but certainly 6-8 maybe?
I am looking upgrading to a 13" MacBook Air, with a 1 TB SSD, i5 Quad Core, and 16GB of memory so that it's somewhat future proof.
My normal usage is web-surfing, photos, Pages/Numbers, and the occasional video editing in iMovie. I've noticed that the latest iPhones shoot in 4K, but even though I would still only be using it occasionally for video editing in 4k, is the MBA that I'm looking at going to be enough in the future?
