Will a new iPhone come with 3.1.3 firmware?

I bought a new 16gb 3gs on friday, gets delivered from apple on monday/tuesday.

Am I going to able to unlock/jailbreak it or will all the firmware etc be up-to-date out of the box?

Am I wasting my time and should I cancel the order and hold out till 4.0 comes out?

Any advice appreciated!!

Anything shipped from Apple will definately have 3.1.3.

Should have just waited for June/July and the possible new hardware that may come with 4.0 being released.

Got another one 10 days ago from AT&T (corporate store), and it had 3.1.3 as well.

Honestly I would cancel the order and wait for 4.0, it will come out in june/july and the iPhones that will be released then at the very least will be double the storage for the same price, but probably will have quite a few killer new features that the 3GS wont have as well.
