As title, I have a UK iPod Touch which I have just purchased and I have a US iTunes account. As I have a fair bit of credit in the US iTunes account, I was thinking of buying my software update from there. Will it work even though my iPod is a UK version?

Maps are google based and depend on you being online so irrelevant.

Only thing I'd say that is for the money you save £2.50(?) is there any point...

I had spare credit for the US iTunes and bought it in the UK since I figured it's more likely I'll see something at some point I really want and can't buy in the UK store.

Yeah I take your point. Thanks, I might buy it from the UK store

I was just looking at the Apple Support site and it says that you have to be signed into iTunes Store with the account you purchased the iPod Touch update with. Does that mean that if I use my UK account to buy the update, I won't be able to use my US songs and videos on the ipod touch?
