Will AirPods 2 work as a mic and speaker on Windows?

I love my iPods, but I have struggled and never able to get them to work as a “headset” for Windows. I’m wondering if the 2.0 version will play better with Windows. I’d love to be able to use them in Jabber and Skype for business.
