Will Airpods work with PS4?

Will I be able to use Bluetooth Airpods and connect it to my PS4? The wired Earpods do not work with the PS4 and has numerous problems.

I'm sure they will. They're just Bluetooth headsets.

ETA: I stand corrected by subsequent posts. Third party support for headsets is not available.

They won't. Only Sony wireless headset is supposed to work.

Unlikely with the W1 chip.

Google it. I think there's ways to get around it and make it work. Think you need some sort of dongle or adapter.
