There seems to be a hell lot of great stuff you can do with a jailbroken phone like customize home screen with settings buttons, install terminal for ssh, maybe even auto toggle flight mode on schedule to not be disturbed by calls/sms/email at night and to save battery...
So, can we expect to have all that great stuff from the app store or on the 2.X software sometime?

Unfortunately, seems unlikely that a lot of 'favorite' jailbreak apps will make it across. Seems that Apple has a stackload of restrictions that may prevent some of the leading types of JB apps from crossing over.

Here's a good article by BigBoss talking about some of the restrictions and how they relate to some well-known JB apps ...

Well, i don't really give a care about changing themes or stuff like that.
As said before, what I would dig is Terminal with ssh and auto flight mode on schedule. But that will most likely have to come from Apple directly since it needs to modify system files...

SO PLEASE: everyone who would also like these things, send feedback to Apple!!! The iPhone is so under-utilised it hurts!
