Slightly Off-Topic but...
Hmm... OKAY?? Why does EVERYONE hate AOL? I seriously don't find them to be this horrible, evil, monster ISP company that everyone claims it is. It seems that all large companies are hated for basically the small or pity problems they have. The problem with AOL is its technical support, even though its terrible, its getting better; AOL forces advertisements to its (paying!) users which is VERY unfair which is another downfall. Otherwise the interface of AOL Plus for MacOS X (currently beta) and AOL 8.0 for Windows have very easy to use controls and features that are very nice and compact in one application (AOL is overpriced... So is MSN... So is earthlink... So are Macs... PCs can do EVERYTHING that Macs can do to a certain extent but usually not as good. Other ISPs can do EVERYTHING that AOL basically can do but not as easy). You can slim your AOL bill to $15 a month and use your own broadband with AOL and get more features then with AOL dial-up, plus AOL gives you 5-hours a month dial-up when you are traveling plus 5 email accounts. AOL's mail is VERY easy to use for people that don't know what they are doing and Chatrooms on AOL are very easy to use compared to ANY irc client. Remember that AOL supports Open Source (Netscape, Mozilla) which is opposite what M$ is doing with IE. AOLs AIM is very nice, its the largest IM network and as far as I know is the oldest IM network that is still used by many people and has the largest number of people that use it compared to anything else (MSN, Yahoo messenger, etc...). AOL(time warner) may not be perfect, nor is any company. AOL has a good relationship with Apple right now and they *now* realize that their Mac customers are important to them (iChat, New AOL for MacOS X software is almost as good as windows counterpart, AOL now follows Apples Aqua Human Interface guidelines, AOL Plus (beta) for MacOS X has almost all the features of AOL for windows and soon they will be equal in features).
No, I do not work for AOL. Heck, I don't even have my own AOL account anymore. I just think that AOL is changing and becoming Mac friendly and I wish that people will give them a break. Apple changed COMPLETELY since OS X... I am willing to tell everyone that Apple was pretty much garbage just before starting development on MacOS X (Windows was superior to the MacOS and Unix systems were superior in networking then both of them.). I hope everyone faces that fact because there was nothing going for the MacOS (It was UGLY, Networking was behind its time, Ancient memory and multitasking, Crash prone, etc...).
If anyone disagrees with me with anything I said then I would be glad to talk to you
Hehehe, IM me on

I hope my post changes some peoples minds a little bit about AOL.
