It's not a pleasant experience. It scrolls, sure, but it's kind of jerky. I'm using a Logitech Create that I recently got and it isn't any better than when I was using the Magic Keyboard around 6 months ago.

Umm, I'm assuming you are referring to OS X/macOS?

On my 2012 MBA and 2011 iMac both running El Cap, its not an entirely bad experience. When I first hit the down arrow it is a little jerky, but after half a page down it starts to smooth out.

No I think he means hardware keyboard on an ipad/iPhone and I agree, it's not pleasant. Usually I use option + arrow - that scrolls just under a page worth but that's not always desirable.

Ahh, the OP was vague about the problem. I didn't even think about hardware keyboards for iOS devices.
