What part of "where the iMac is" was unclear? There is no hole and Apple would not make a mid-range tower unless Steve leaves.
What argument against the xMac do you want this time?
Apple doesn't make computers to cater to the beige-box crowd.
Apple doesn't want people using their own hardware and then blaming Apple when it doesn't work.
OS X relies on integration of known hardware and software to make it work.
Take your pick.
what part of "i dont want an all in one that uses laptops parts" is unclear?
what arguments against the imac do you want this time?
1) theres no desktop option to run osx. i dont want a laptop component desktop that makes even say, hard drive swapping more difficult than it should be
2) theres a market for people who dont want all in ones yet dont require a mac pro but want more power than a mini
3) the markt is there as evidence of the hackintosh scene as well the complaints on these boards about the lack of one
take your pick

um what? for your first "argument, how would a desktop be handeled any different than the macpro in terms of additional hardware? some people dont need workstation performance
for your second argument, who is to say that a desktop made by apple wont integrate the hardware and osx?
Apple would not make a mid-range tower unless Steve leaves.
once again, you are not apple and you have no idea what they will do. please stop acting otherwise
i dont get why people feel the need to always say apple is always right with their products. just because you may not need it doesnt mean i dont
