Given that the Air is currently $999, could we see a $699 MacBook in the next few years. This could really disrupt the PC market. Could the current Air become the MacBook SE?

What I'd like to see is a 3nm A17 Bionic chip from an iPhone 15 Pro finding itself into a $300 Mac mini & $500-700 Macbook 12". Doing so will really disrupt the Windows market.

Base model 2023 Mac mini M2 is $600 while a 2022 Macbook Air M2 starts at $1000.

M1 & M2 that runs macOS can run iPadOS for the iPad Pro & iPad Air. As the iPad traditionally used iPhone chips it should be possible to run macOS on chips for the iPhone.

I've always wondered if they'd ever do something like this. I feel like they could even take the M1 MBA down to ~700-800 and be fine.

With the A series chip it would make the mini situation even weirder where most of the chips in it use way less power than it's designed to cool. (Redesign?)

2022 Apple TV 4K sells for $149. Use its current case but add a few more I/O ports and you can sell it as Mac nano that runs macOS Ventura.

Macbook 12" could easily sell for $699.

My 5nm A15 Bionic chip in my iPhone 14 Pro Max has more raw performance than my 2012 iMac 27" Core i7.
