I'm overall disappointed with Apple plugging in a 3rd party solution, but it begs the question on whether we'll be able to use other LLMs like Grok, Gemini, or whatever else you use, with Siri instead of ChatGPT.

That would be awesome but a realistic answer is no unless some government agency forces them to do it. Apple always has been the “Here’s how you’re going to do this” kind of company. It’s not BK where you can have it your way 😂

Let’s think about this. When has Apple ever done this? That is your answer.

They did it with search. Google is default but users can choose other search engines. Since building AI isn’t Apple’s competency, they should follow the same model and let AI plug in through APIs, with users choosing the one they want.
