No. All of their cables are that length.
I have a 6' cable, from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00182CIB8/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00 A simple solution to an annoying problem.
How is it working out? Getting ready to pull the trigger.
The one they supply is pathetically short. It can barely reach from a standard socket to a night stand.
Buy a USB extension cable. A 3' extension is less than a buck at monoprice:

That's what she said. Will Apple make a longer Lightning cable?
I could use a 6 footer.![]()
IMO I don't see the issue with things the way they are. If you need longer cables there are accessory makers offering them.
In my opinion apple needs to make 3" and 6" lengths in both white and black colors. That would satisfy 90% of the cable market and eliminate the need to buy 3rd party cables
The problem is the accessory makers connectors do not fit in most cases. Can you explain to me why logically a belkin cable cannot work with a belkin case for example?
I think that would really annoy a lot of people!!
I had this same concern with a Griffin case and car charger. I had an issue with one of them and in the email I sent I asked why their own products didn't fit together as expected.
They said I had an older version. They replaced the defective item and sent me a newer version of the other. After that everything worked great.
Then I decided to just leave my iPhone naked.![]()
Any chance you could take a pic comparing the Griffin connector to the oem lightning?
