iPod Will Apple release bluetooth earpods?

Now that the Nano has bluetooth, wondered if they might release a wireless version of their Earpods?

The Bluetooth is more designed for speakers. It's very hard to design Bluetooth headsets in general, they aren't efficient to begin with and drain your battery very quickly. They're also prone to static interference. I think it will be at least a few more years until Apple tries to get into that space because of that.

possible and an intriguing development.....but staying in the fun side, Dr. Sheldon Cooper as stated "anything is better with Bluetooth"....(dont shot me if these dont are the exact words....).

This is doable. Have to wonder if makes sense for Apple in terms of cost-benefit balance....

If you think about it, headphone jacks are now the limiting factor for the thickness (or 'thinness') of iPod shuffles and nanos. While these aren't Apple's main products anymore, what happens if the 3.5mm jack becomes the limiting factor for iPhones and iPads?

While this may be a few years away, I can definitely see Apple doing away with headphone jacks and moving to Bluetooth headphones.

Hopefully, however, this comes with huge improvements in battery technology!
