So, on my MBP, I noticed on the side, right above the ExpressCard slot, the metal is sticking out(such that it bends). Additionally, on the left corner of the panel next to the trackpad, the panel is chipped and raised. Will AppleCare cover these(with some prying, possibly?)? I didn't drop/abuse the notebook; I only toted it around in my Targus laptop bag with nothing else but the power adapter in a separate compartment. I just noticed these two things on my MBP.

Thanks!

I won't say they won't, but if it hinders normal operation, they will. Other than that... good luck. ;)

i am almost assured they will, however they WILL charge you full repair costs for it, which from what your post describes would probably be around $600 or more. soo.... yeah, just live with it.

My macbook randomly developed cracks and I did nothing to it. I took it to the store, had it shipped out, and got it back in less than 48 hours. It didn't cost me anything.

So they might repair it.

On the other hand, I dropped a remote control on my MacBook Pro and put a dent on the top case. They won't do anything about that for free.
