Even if it ships and it arrives early in your city, they will place a hold on it until April 30, the date they are scheduled to be delivered. Hang in there, only a week and few hours to go until you have it in your hands.

I wonder what time my school's bookstore will release them for sale in the morning. They are doing in store reservations and unless there is some kind of direct pressure for even non-Apple stores to sell at 5pm I doubt they will bother.

I don't care when it ships.

I don't care when they charge my account.

I don't care who delivers it.

I only care about its physical delivery--on April 30th.

.

Anyone know who will be delivering, FedEx or UPS?

.

Not yet, it is anyone's guess. But I am thinking this time it may be Federal Express since it is during the week. That is Apple's usual carrier. The Saturday Delivery was a special deal and I think they bid on a price and UPS won that one. I don't think they will bid on this one, but I could be wrong.

I'm really hoping FedEX. The FedEX office is less than a mile away from me and aside from that I loathe UPS. They've lost a few items and the result was less than satisfactory. Never lost anything from FedEX.

what part of this can't these guys get...

is it that hard to understand.

I am betting a signature is required. Hmmm....since I won't be at home when they deliver it, I wonder if I can leave the presigned form on the door and they will leave it? If not, I might have to wait til Sat to pick it up from FedEx.

That seems to be at the discretion of the driver. It's worked for me in the past, but for some reason, it didn't work for me for the iPhone 3GS. So as they say, it's worth a try, but YMMV.
