i will most likely be driving to the apple store tomorrow because of my blasted iPod touch, and wanted to know if the store would replace my base 11 inch with a refurbished 13 inch. of Course I would pay the difference but i've never heard of an instance when the apple store did this. ive been following these forums for almost a year and should've known better when I bought my Dell computer. Rushed into getting a new computer and settled on a piece of poo... Anyways any help would be appreciated!

Refurbished Macs are not available in stores; only online.

no.

Apple does not have any sort of "upgrade" program to provide something along the lines of what you're hoping for. in fact, no computer manufacturer does.
