One thing I just notice about iOS 14 settings app is the have removed “iTunes Store” form their App Store setting title. Now, above ”Wallet & Apple Pay”, there is “App Store”, no more ”iTunes Store”. Inside the setting, there is no word regarding iTunes purchase anymore. Everything is about apps and App Store.
Given that there was a rumour a while back speculating Apple removing iTunes Store to shift people’s focus completely to Apple Music, I feel this change is intentional, and signals Apple may consider sunsetting iTunes Store next year.

What do you guys think?
Here is the Setting I mentioned here.

The TV app needs work if they're going to do that.

- No way to buy the Complete Series bundles that you can buy in the iTunes Store.
- Search is awful. There's no way to search for a specific season or episode of a show.
- No ratings or reviews.
- No wish list.
- No gifting.
- No charts
- Genres are buried all the way at the bottom (sometimes requiring multiple page loads as you scroll down) instead of prominently at the top

It’s only a matter of time. AppleTV has largely already replaced iTunes for TV shows and Movies. Podcasts, Books and the App Store are already fully detached from iTunes. Apple Music can, with some adjustments, perform the same function of iTunes for music.

Some people like to purchase music. Apple Music already shows your purchased music library, you just can’t buy music in the app and have to go to iTunes. To resolve that, Apple Music should still work for those without a subscription but instead of saying Play, it would have the buy button. For those with a subscription, a buy option would appear in a context menu in case someone wants to buy something for the long term or wants to gift a song.

Alternatively, I can see Apple discontinuing music purchases altogether, in a bid to get as many people on Apple Music streaming as they can.

The store should be contained as a tab in the music app. It doesn’t need to be separate.

however I also believe that all shopping and banking apps should disappear from the home screen and be accessed via an apps tab in Wallet.
