Will Apple "Upscale" the MacBook?

Sorry, I haven't had time to read the tons of post about the new rumored MacBook.

Like the iMac, do you think Apple will upscale the new MacBook so the base model will now cost $1199?

If the new ones come out at higher prices, it may be prudent to get the slightly older one...

My bet is the price-point will remain, for the most part, the same, and specs/features will be updated.

I don't think Apple will be raising the prices on their MacBooks. They are trying to compete and gain more market share in the laptop market. They have made updates the MacBook Pro with no price increase for SR.
