Will ATT charge overage fee b4 unlimited grandfathered plan activated?

Hello,

I spoke to an ATT rep on the 866 number on the 23rd June to activate the unlimited plan on an iPad I ordered on June 6 and received on the June 22nd.

I'm currently close to 2gb and want to know:

How long has it taken for you to get the email that they are upgrading you from 2gb plan to unlimited? They said 10 days.

Will I get overage fee for going over the 2gb plan before my unlimited plan kics in?

If they haven't actually switched you to the unlimited plan yet, expect to get charged the overage fee. You might be able to argue your case and get the charge removed after the fact though.
