Will ATV output 1080p(24fps) in 720p???

I realize the ATV won't output in 1080p...but I was curious if i feed it a source with 1080p and 24fps would it output in 720p OR just flat out not play or recognize the videos???

No. It has to be 720..That is a pixel size in case you didn't know.

720P is also a pixel size.

1080P will not play on the AppleTV. unless you hack into it.

It will do the reverse of that. It will play a 720p24 video and upscale it to 1080p.

Unfortunately all the blu rays I've put on my server have been at 1080 and 24fps.
