I posted this on ASC with 0 reactions so trying my luck here.
According to the minimum system requirements Safari bookmarks should sync across devices. I run 10.7.5 with Safari 5.1.7 on one of partitions of the drive and my iPhone runs iOS 12.2. On both devices it's the same AppleID account, "Safari bookmarks" is enabled as is "Safari" in iCloud pane on iPhone. However it would sync randomly and in such a manner that I can't see a predictable pattern of how does it do it. A month ago I added a bookmark to favorites on 10.7.5 and noticed it added in Safari on iPhone as well, however when I tried to repeat that with another page I don't see it on iPhone. Reading Lists on both devices have different sets of bookmarks with only some of them matching (note here: on my other partitions I have newer OSes but I imported my Safari 5 bookmarks there not synced). Hence, my questions:

- If I meet minimum requirements then specifically what bookmarks are supposed to sync between devices? Is it Reading List, Favorites, Collections?
- Can bookmarks from 10.7.5 be synced with any up-to-date iOS version actually (as Apple's help documents imply)?
