Apple's regional website in Denmark suggested that the operating system would be released on October 4.However I have not receive the release yet today-_-

hope the public release is coming today but wouldnt apple announce the date somewhere like on here?

or is it going to just show up as being available out of the blue

I'd be surprised. Usually they give devs a week or so to get their apps submitted.

forgot about developers needing some time to get there apps submitted and ready for macOS.

probably not out till next week then.

I am on GM and unimpressed.
MBP 15 inch 2018 - not running so smooth...
Bluetooth issues with my keyboard and magic mouse.
Graphic drivers flicker on external monitor.
CPU running hotter than Mojave.

I think this is the first time I regret an OS update in my life.

Another sites say it’s coming today. But is Catalina ready? iOS and watchOS still are not. That’s why I’m asking.

Although that website said October 4th that doesn’t mean it’ll happen today. I don’t think it will release today, but you never know.

I doubt it will release today. It’s a very major update no? Maybe bugs still left?

The gm is the release build, so what ever bugs are already there will be there, normally it takes a week after GM for public but it’s the same build

more bugs will be fixed in 10.15.1

wont apple announce when its being released for everyone anyway?

It might be. But not necessarily. Sometimes there are several GMs before release. And sometimes the release build is different to all the GMs.
