All,

Recent switcher here...will Dreamweaver for PC work on a Mac? I don't think so, but I thought I'd ask...

Will virtual pc not allow it to work?

would've though so - but contact Macromedia and ask about a license transfer. It may be possible (some compnaies do this, but not all) to buy a CD of the Mac version from Macromedia and have them transfer your license over. IIRC they did that for education - you bought the licenses, and could buy the CDs separately.

You might also want to read the license agreement (I know, nobod ever does) as it might not specify that you can only run the PC version. I won't go any further in case people misconstrue what I'm saying - but let's just say I was told by the editor of a well-known magazine that MM weren't too bothered about this - if you bought a license, it's not an issue.
Other companies (Adobe, for example) are very clear - the license is platform specific - although that may have changed since...

Am I making sense?
