The Financial Times assumes the iPhone will only be available in three European countries this year. As this is good news for the UK, Germany and France, what about the rest of Europe?

I think many Europeans are waiting for Apple to spread the joy with regard to iPhone’s arrival date in Europe.

If, and only IF, Apple has decided to introduce the iPhone in these countries only, would that be the same concept as in the US? Or will Apple allow you to obtain an iPhone (without contract, but)…with the ability to use your own SIM card in your own country?

On the other hand, if you are able to purchase an iPhone without contract it’ll probably way to expensive.

Anyway, should Apple release their iPhone in these designated countries only, I simply can say that it is another step closer in getting iPhone to the Netherlands!

It will most likley be the same consept here in Europe. it has happened before TREE(HI3G/3) has had an exclusive on several models in the past.
