Hey all. Sooo I accidentaly dropped water on my iPhone (the bottle just exploded) and it was water just on its screen and home button aaand on receiver but I'm really scared. Will the home button will work in the future? Because now it works, the fingerprint works fine... it's an iPhone 5S. Will the receiver work? I immediately wiped it. I called my mom to see if the receiver works and it does...

No one really knows anything about the future, especially about someone's particular situation. Chances are it will work fine, but then again there's certainly at least some chance that at some point things might not.

Potentially depending on how much water was involved your best bet might be (or at least might have been) to turn it off and let it dry off (perhaps in a bag of uncooked rice or something like that) for a while (a day or two perhaps even).

I know that nobody can predict it, but I was asking just because I thought that maybe it happened to someone else :):(

Well, even with that, it doesn't really mean much one way or another for someone else. For someone everything turned out to be fine down the road, for someone else perhaps not, but it doesn't really predict what it would be like in your case really as each device and situation is different ultimately.

Put it in rice for a few days immediately. But it's probably too late for that lol
Might still help dry up the last bit of water tho.
Waterproof Lifeproof cases are great long term investment tho. My phone probably would have been busted by now without it.
