Will I able to access big sur Time Machine files on Monterey.

Updating to Monterey. Ideally I want a clear install and then copy from time machine what I need. Is it possible?

For those who wonder, the time machine disk will have a plain copy of your Data files. No proprietary formats. So you could at any time see your old files.
From this perspective, OS matters only if you want to rollback. But if you, like me, want to see the disk state at some point in time - this will be possible.
