Hi all.

Proud owner of a S0 sport and a iPhone 6S. I plan to upgrade to watchOS ASAP after release... However I will get the S3 WiFi in the coming months and want to pass my S0 to my girlfriend who has a iPhone5.

Now, as iPhone5 only gets iOS 10 it can only support watchOS3, right? So can I reset the S0 to watchOS3 once it was on watchOS4?

Or should I keep the S0 at watchOS3 until I pass it on?

Cheers,

Keep it on watchOS 3. There is no way to downgrade the OS unless Apple does it, which is only done if it's on a beta due to them restoring the watch with the latest public release of the OS.

Also, yes, iPhone 5 will not work with watchOS 4.

Bummer.

That‘s what I feared... Well, have to get the AW3 at the start it seams so I can use watchOS4 right away... unfortunately the LTE version is only available from T-Mobile here and I‘m not with them... was really tempted by the cellular version and hoped that my carrier will join later and I can still buy it right now, but to no avail it seems...
