I just got my Logitech V470 bluetooth mouse in the mail and I'll be getting the MBA refresh soon, so I can't test it out. My problem is that it comes with a CD which "provides support for tilt wheel and allows you to customize button assignments and adjust cursor speed."

The Air doesn't have a CD drive, so I was wondering if anybody has used this mouse with their Air, and did it work without setting it up with the CD? Would I still be able to use the tilt wheel and customize the buttons?

Thanks for the help.

I can't try it out now either, because my laptop has Ubuntu installed.

It'll work fine. Don't need the CD install the driver downloaded from Logitech.

Also Better Touch Tool is a nice free mouse upgrade.

Not sure, I use a Razor Orochi BlueTooth mouse. No side scrolling and only two of the four buttons under OSX. But a really nice mouse nonetheless.
