Will I brick my phone with 2.0?

First - I'm sorry if this answer has been posted elsewhere - but I have searched with no luck.

I have a jailbroken 1.1.1 US phone that I use in the UK on Orange. If I update it through iTunes etc to 2.0 will it remain working / jailbroken?

If not - can anyone point me in the right direction of a way I can upgrade?

No. It will brick. You can reunlock it with Pwnage in a few days.

Search the forum for jailbroken phone help. However, from what I read, some people appear to have updated directly from a jailbroken phone, while others have reverted to the old firmware before updating to the new firmware, just to be safe.

Overall, though, I have not seen where anyone has been bricked because of updating a jailbroken phone, but maybe that's because many are bricked because of the server crunch.
