Hi all,

I am new to the iPhone and love it so far!

I bought my iPhone from an AT&T company store 5 days ago which came with the following:

Version: 3.1.3 (7E18)
Model: MC135LL
Firmware: 05.12.01

While I don't need to jailbreak and unlock my phone right now, I need those "features" within a few months.

Will there ever be a jailbreak/unlock for this version/model/firmware or should I return the iPhone and hunt for a 3.1.2 somewhere.

I read on forums that WalMart may have 3.1.2 iPhones...are there any other places where they still have 3.1.2?

Thank you!!!

Noone knows when but sometime in the near future we will see a JB, not sure about an unlock since those are harder to come by.
If you want to return it and try best buy or walmart thats an option also.
I heard some best buy employees have been helpfull with people looking for 3.1.2 firmware.

Thanks, I ended up returning the phone. Went to Best Buy but the sales guy didn't help. Walmart didn't have any.

I guess I'll wait until there is a jb/unlock available on 3.1.3 or wait until June/July for iPhone 4G.
