Can't seem to find an answer to this anywhere. It's one of the things I LOVE LOVE LOVE about my Kindle2. You get quite a bit too, often as much as the first 10% of a book, MORE than enough to make an informed purchase decision.

It's funny, when I bought the Kindle I didn't think of this as a big deal. Now, it may literally keep me from buying an iPad if it doesn't offer the feature...

In the Keynote, Jobs specifically mentioned the ability to get samples of iBooks.

Yikes! Sorry - that was the one place I didn't look (I haven't had a chance to sit down and watch the full video). Neither of the live feeds I was monitoring mentioned it, or if they did I missed it. Sorry!
