Hi all.

My iPhone 7’s battery is dead and says need service. So I’m going to hand it in for repair since it still has warranty.

The problem is that I’m running iOS 12 beta 12 (latest) and I’m afraid that the iCloud backup I make before handing in for repair can’t be used when I get my phone back and there’s a iOS 12 GM

What do you guys think? Is it gonna be a problem? Should I wait with handing in until I can make an iCloud backup from the iPhone with the GM release installed?

Nah, this won't be a problem. The only time you're going to have an issue installing an iCloud backup is if you made that backup with a newer version than what you're currently on (i.e. your new phone comes with 11.4.1 and you try using your iOS 12 backup). It'll be fine on the GM.
