The maximum storage available for iCloud Drive is currently 2 TB. This has been the maximum available, AFAIK, since iCloud Drive started offering various tiers of storage.

2 TB really isn't very much these days. Apple offers 8 TB of SSD storage for the Mac Pro. I dare say Windows competitors offer more. Google Drive also offers up to 20 TB of cloud storage, if you're willing to pay.

Will Apple ever up this limit? For context, I am using 1.5 TB on iCloud Drive and 1.5 TB on Google Drive (both paying for 2 TB limits), mostly in photos, amateur videos I've shot myself and years of archived work. Ideally, I'd rather combine them and just use one cloud provider. In the greater scheme of things, I doubt I'm even a real power user when it comes to storage requirements.

Since the launch of Apple One, you are technically able to go up to 4TB, by taking the included 2TB in the Premier plan, and by adding a separate 2 TB. Granted it's not cheap if you want to use only the iCloud service, and it's not a very convenient solution. I also hope Apple offers more options regarding to cloud storage.

Yep, would like to see regular packages for 4, 6, 8 and maybe 10TB - just to know that I'm safe for the future. Currently I'm around 3,5TB - I highly avoid saving 4K videos in iCloud anymore. It's ok if 4TB will be around 20 bucks, 8TB 40 bucks ans so on... just make sure we have the possibility.

I'm in the same boat. I'm all in with Apple / iCloud & only have about 10GB remaining. I'd have to go back to using an external drive or something to put documents if they don't increase storage options! Why not give options for those willing to pay for more?

My son with Down syndrome records all and has consumed 3.5 TB of the 4 TB on family plan. Have asked Apple to increase.

Is there a way to look at all video files in Photos to find the largest file sizes?

Looked at Power Photo but didn't show all videos.

Any recommendations vice me deleting 20 gig a week?
