I figure that’s the point of it but I thought I’d double check because I lost all my achievements etc earlier this year when I was forced to set up as new after I was experiencing some issues.

If I do a restore and set up as new will the iCloud sync restore activity data, workouts, and achievements to the Activity app? I’m experiencing horrendous battery life with my 6S on 11.1 and I want to see if a new set up will help at all.

Thanks!

If you have health data syncing on iCloud then yes it will restore all your activity app as well as health data to the new setup. It does take a while for it to show up on the new phone. I got a little worried when I set up my X as a new device but a few hours later it all showed up.

That being said if you have not been syncing health via iCloud go ahead and turn it on but I would give it plenty of time to upload/sync to iCloud.

Same here. Took overnight for me for everything to restore
