Hi,

I've just downloaded Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store and the Install Mountain Lion program automatically loaded. I've just agreed the Terms and Condiions and have selected the drive I wish to install (there is only one drive).

I'm now worried that installing ML will remove all my my files. Im pretty sure it won't, as I've been lookin at the apple website and various YouTube videos. Nowhere here has there been mentioned that files will be deleted. the lack of warning on the apple website and the program itself makes me assume that it won't.

Can anybody confirm whether my files will e deleted to put my mind t rest whilst it's still installing?

Thanks

Apple would tell you if it deleted all your stuff lol.

Anyway, like everyone else said, it doesn't delete anything, so no need to worry.

As stated above, the upgrade won't delete anything.

Worst case, just restore your system from your backups. (you do keep regular backups, right? such as for when your hard drive dies some day?)
