Every time i unlock my iPhone it goes black for a sec before reapering. This only happens if I have 2 different wallpapers.

Not seeing any black screen when unlocking while using two separate wallpapers for my lock screen and home screen.

I’m on a 7+

This is fixed in iOS 11. The lock screen slides up and the homescreen fades in. They have fixed homescreen in landscape on the plus as well. You can now properly set a square wallpaper and it will not zoom when rotated.

Thank god!

I've never seen a black screen when unlocking on my 7+ and I have two different wallpapers. Anyway I have iOS 11 on the 7+ now and still don't see a black screen when unlocking. Hope that helps.
