iPad currently supports only a handful of international keyboards. Will iOS 4 bring all of the rest to iPad? Or, will Apple just add language by language as it launches in each international market?

What language do you need, the basic languages are already there!
Where are you from?

You know the characters are already there if you press and hold the key. Try it with the vowel keys, i.e. "a, e, i, o, u, y". You can get most languages keys but not the layouts.

The problem, in my case, isn't the characters, it's the auto-correction.

There are much more languages than the "basic" ones and since they're available on the iPhone there's no reason for them to be missing on the iPad.

Some examples: Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Romanian, Polish, Norwegian, Greek, Finnish, Czech...
