Yeah I'd think that we will at least see it in June of this year, preview style. Hopefully it'd ship in the Fall some time.

I'd expect iOS 6 to move away from the pages of application icons in the current GUI and towards widgets and folders (without limits). Especially for the iPad.

Talk of widgets seems to get down votes on this forum, but I'm sure Apple will do it in a way that'll work well.

I hope so too.
I think a major overhaul of iOS would be in order. The App store grew much faster than Apple anticipated so we have vast amounts of apps and a rather primitive OS.

I hope too there are widgets on the front screen, or at least the ability to add widgets to the notification screen as there is already with the Stock and weather ticker.

Widgets wouldn't be very hard - the same mechanism as OSX.

Jailbreak and use winterboard/dreamboard skins.
