Of course we’re expecting a huge camera bump and maybe some new technology in the iPhone. But will we see a higher PPI and better resolution screen? That’s really the only thing that would make me upgrade. I have a feeling it will be the same exact screen since the iPhone X. Didn’t Apple buy a bunch of screens from Samsung and got in trouble for not using as much as they promised to order? That leads me to believe it will be the same exact screen since the iPhone X. What do you guys think?

Looks to be the same from rumors. Hopefully there will some enhancement though if losing 3D Touch.

Not a chance in Heck.

The PPI on my max is perfect. I would prefer to keep it this res. More battery life. XR is the shining example of this.

They will talk about some enhancements and how its the best screen on any iPhone ever, but it'll be the same for all intents and purposes.

I don’t know, the iPhone displays are excellent (Calibration/brightness/color temp’), I really don’t think that iPhone display ‘needs to be better’, I mean, their displays have been rated excellent for years no matter what improvements they made.

Im fine with the screen staying the same as long as we seen a significant battery improvement. And then maybe next year introduce a higher Hz screen.

Hopefully they've improved screen scratch resistance. Iphones are the only phones I still feel obligated to use a screen protector or face tons of micro scratches.
