Do we think this is a possibility? Obviously under-display Touch ID is not coming but do we think Apple might bring Touch ID to the side button like the iPads, especially in the current COVID climate which isn't going away any time soon.

Based on all the current rumours I'll most likely skip iPhone 14 and keep my iPhone 12.

However, side Touch ID will definitely make me upgrade immediately.
I miss the days of using Apple Pay with my finger on the reader without pressing anything instead of the current method of double tapping the button and then holding towards my face.....

No. Why do people still think we need TouchID on a non-flagship phone?

We already know FaceID is more convenient, just as secure, and works with masks/different appearances.

Apple has continually positioned TouchID as a security method on less-expensive devices, so there's no reason to "bring it back" to a FaceID device, which is demonstrably better.
