A friend and I were just talking about all the sweet stuff the iPhone does as we watched the new guide video and he brought up an interesting point:

Does it vibrate?

All they ever talk about is silencing it and the ring tones. Personally, I rarely, if ever, have my ringer turned on. I feel like it's disruptive.

So does anyone know if the iPhone will vibrate? It may sound stupid but this could be the deciding factor of whether or not I will get one.

wouldnt you like to know? :D

but seriously, my brother says that it will, he says it is in the specifications, ill check

I think the video clearly shows that it will vibrate. Around the time they are showing the settings and ring tones there is a Vibrate setting.

Just to verify, this is a screenshot from the video.

This might be in another thread... but what do you think the option is directly underneath "New Mail"? Is it "Sent Mail"? (Like the "whoosh" sound?) Not really a ring, but OK.

Yes, I believe that says "Sent Mail" right underneath the "New Mail" option.
