I have a 3G iphone in NZ running 2.1 firmware. Everything is fine but i think it's time for a jailbreak.

The NZ iphone 3g is currently fully unlocked and can be used anywhere in the world..

..

so my question is .. Will a jailbreak kill my unlock or no? I'm not sure how they unlock the phone but if it has something to do with hardware, then there shouldnt be a problem right??

Thanks

Not many users have an unlocked 3g iPhone. I know with current 2.1 iPhone 2g, it does not break the unlock. If it's unlocked (more than likely hardware), then it shouldn't break it. Do you want to chance it tho?

Well that's why i came to the forums to find out :p

though I can't find a single thread on any forum regarding this question hmmmm......

no.... jailbreak wont kill ur unlock ~~
after u unlocked ur iphone , its totally unlocked , no matter what , it will still be unlocked ~~
