Is apples new OS going to run well if I install it on my super old macbook 32 bit? I sure hope so because when I bought it the experts at the apple store told me it would run fine, but now I know that the new OS will be 64bit I am a little scared. Will it have support for 32bit apps? I can't take this stuff anymore. Its so hard to ever buy an apple product because a month later they(without any warning) come out with a new model that makes yours old and obsolete.

calm down your fine nothing will happen plus the macbook isnt that old think about the g4's there old but they will support it.:) so ya no worries

Calm down, man! Leopard will be 32-bit and 64-bit... you won't miss out on any features or anything. 90% of applications will be 32-bit only for the next few years, and even then most apps won't see a huge advantage with 64-bit. The Apple guys didn't lie to you. Apple has a great track record for supporting their older machines with new OS'es.

Ok thanks I feel better now. I was talking to some people and they were acting like my macbook 2.0 was a apple 2 or something and saying the core 2 duo was a better choice for the new os because of the 64 bit support.
